1. Pain during sex

2. Bleeding during intercourse

Another early sign of cervical cancer is bleeding during sexual intercourse. Sometimes the bleeding might be accompanied by pain and itching. Vaginal bleeding during sex can be due to dryness, but it is good to seek further advice from your doctor when you experience such signs. It is one of the most common symptoms of uterine or cervical cancer.

3. Bleeding between periods

Sometimes you might see some blood in the middle of your cycle, when you don’t normally bleed. This is a sign that you need to seek advice from a health professional. Bleeding between two periods can also be as a result of hormonal imbalance that can be caused by stress or tension. The menstrual periods can also be heavier and last longer than normal. This is also an alarming sign of cervical cancer.

4. Pelvic pain

Pelvic pain is one of the symptoms of women’s cancers. Pelvic pain is characterized by pain above your legs and below your belly button. When you experience some pelvic pain, it does not mean that you have cervical cancer, there could be some other reasons. It is good if you seek confirmation from your doctor.

5. Pain during urination

This is another early warning of cervical cancer. Since cervical cancer is affecting the reproductive system, it can also compromise the excretory system. That is why you might end up feeling some burning sensation during your urination or even total pain. Go for a Pap test to get clear confirmation that it is cervical cancer because there are also some diseases that are characterized by pain during urination.

6. Fever and fatigue

Fever and fatigue is also an early warning symptom of cervical cancer. Since HPV will affect the immunity of the patient making her susceptible to infections, women suffering from cervical cancer tend to be tired and have increased body temperatures. Seek medical advice when you experience such symptoms

Cervical cancer is a disease that is caused by the HPV that affects the cervix of the woman.
